Website & app terms

Terms of use.

These draft terms describe general use of the CYBERGUARD 360 website and Android app. They should be reviewed and finalized by the operator before public release.

Review required: This is an informational draft, not legal advice. The operator should obtain appropriate legal review and confirm applicable governing-law, consumer, subscription and liability terms before publication.

1. About these terms

These terms are intended to cover your use of the CYBERGUARD 360 public website and, where applicable, the CYBERGUARD 360 Android app and related features operated by or for Buildnova Technologies Private Limited (“we,” “us” or “the operator”). Additional terms from Google Play or a security-center operator may also apply to your use of those services.

By using the website or app, you should review these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service. The final enforceable terms may depend on the jurisdiction and the operator’s finalized legal documents.

2. The service

CYBERGUARD 360 provides Android security checks and information, including local link, message, QR, file, app and device reviews, plus optional caller screening and connected account, security-center and emergency features. Availability depends on device compatibility, Android, network access, permissions, configured services and subscription status. Features may change over time.

Some connected functionality uses a security center configured by the user, organization or operator. The operator of that service controls its hosting, administrator access, backups and retention. The app is not a centrally hosted security-monitoring service by default.

3. Eligibility and your responsibilities

Use the app and website only where lawful and in accordance with these terms and applicable platform rules. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, providing information you are authorized to provide and using the app only on devices and data you are entitled to access. Do not misuse the services, interfere with their operation or use them to violate another person’s rights.

4. Security information is not a guarantee

Risk scores, heuristics and threat matches are informational signals. They may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. A “no known match” or low-risk result does not mean an item or device is safe. CYBERGUARD 360 does not replace Android security updates, backups, careful judgment, emergency services or professional security advice.

5. Permissions and connected features

Optional features may require Android permissions or special access that you choose through Android settings. You can decline or revoke access; the corresponding feature may not work. Optional reporting and threat synchronization have separate controls. Account and subscription verification may still contact the configured security center when on-device-only mode is enabled.

Family emergency features are not an emergency-response service. Push delivery, location availability and network access are not guaranteed. Contact local emergency services directly in an emergency.

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

The current app configuration requires an active Google Play subscription. Google Play controls checkout, payment processing, renewals and cancellation. Prices, trial eligibility, billing periods and renewal terms are displayed in the applicable Google Play checkout and may vary by region or account. The security center verifies entitlements. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete account or server-side records; see account deletion instructions.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

The website, app, branding, software and related materials are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may send feedback to the support contact; do not include confidential information you do not want us to receive.

8. Third-party services

Features may rely on Google Play, Firebase Cloud Messaging, CountriesNow, Have I Been Pwned, GitHub-hosted indicators, maps applications or a configured security-center operator. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control the availability or practices of third-party services.

9. Service availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue website content or app features as development, security, legal or operational needs change. We will update relevant published information where appropriate. Online information may not always reflect a user’s specific app build or security-center configuration.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and app are provided on an informational, best-effort basis, without guarantees that checks will detect every risk or that a feature will always be available. Nothing in these draft terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The operator should finalize this section with jurisdiction-appropriate legal advice before publication.

11. Governing law and contact

The operator must confirm the governing-law and dispute terms applicable to the final service before publication. For questions about these draft terms, contact support@cyberguard360.in.
