Frequently asked questions.

Learn about the app’s current features, permissions, privacy choices and service requirements.

What is CYBERGUARD 360?

CYBERGUARD 360 is an Android security app with on-device checks for links, shared text, QR codes, files, apps and selected device settings, plus optional caller screening and connected services. See the feature guide for scope and limitations.

Does a “clean” or “no known match” result mean something is safe?

No. Checks can be incomplete or incorrect. A risk score or lack of a known match is not a guarantee or certification that a file, app, link, message or device is safe.

Are my files, messages or QR contents uploaded?

On-device checks do not upload file contents, message text deliberately shared for a local check, or QR-image contents. Optional reports can send limited security metadata when you explicitly share it or enable the relevant automatic feature. Account and subscription verification still contact the configured security center. Read the privacy policy for details.

What does on-device-only mode do?

It blocks optional security reporting and threat-list synchronization. It does not block account registration/sign-in or subscription entitlement verification, and it does not prevent a location request you initiate for an emergency alert.

Why does the app ask for special permissions?

Some optional features need Android special access. For example, message notification checks need Notification Access, caller screening needs the Android call-screening role, and full shared-storage scans need “All files access.” You can decline or revoke access, but the associated feature may stop working.

Can CYBERGUARD 360 read my private chats or record the camera and microphone?

No. Notification checks can analyze supported text delivered in notifications after you enable the feature and grant Notification Access; they cannot read private chat databases or full chat histories. The app does not request camera or microphone permission and does not capture sensor content. Its optional monitor uses Android callbacks to note screen-off sensor activity but cannot identify which app caused it.

Does the app need an account or subscription?

The current project configuration requires an account and active Google Play subscription for app use. Account access and purchase verification use the security center configured in the app. Actual price, trial eligibility and availability should be confirmed in Google Play checkout.

How do family emergency alerts work?

Accepted family members may receive an alert after the sender confirms it. Location is shared only if permission is granted and only while the alert is active. Medical information is optional and attached only when the user explicitly chooses to share it. Push delivery is not guaranteed; contact local emergency services directly when needed.

Is CYBERGUARD 360 available on Google Play now?

This website does not currently have a verified Google Play listing URL configured. Check the Google Play information page for release status; do not rely on an unofficial download link.

How do I delete my account and data?

Use the account and data deletion instructions. Local app data can be removed from Android settings or by uninstalling; server-side records require a request to the operator of the configured security center. Cancel a Google Play subscription separately in Google Play.
